Alford Conferences Hosts Inaugural Abuja Technology Forum
TECHDIGEST – The inaugural Abuja Technology Forum, a high level networking event drawing tech leaders and professionals from the private, public and educational sectors, has been fixed for Thursday September 29, 2022 in Abuja, FCT. The monthly event is a program of Alford Conferences Limited, the company behind the annual World Digital Exhibition (Worldex).

In a press statement issued yesterday in Abuja, the Head of Global Media Relations of the company, Ms. Juliet Dangiwa Kyom, said, “We have designed this event as a platform for the who-is-who in the Nigerian tech space to meet and network on a frequent and regular basis. What we have in mind is a platform on which trending issues can be discussed and tackled concerning the sustainable growth of the industry in the country. Nigeria today has gradually emerged as the foremost digital economy in Africa, and this monthly show is aimed showcasing how far we have come as well as industry projections into the future.”
The company’s global media boss added that, “At the event, we look forwards to showcasing six federal ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) as well as six states that are at the forefront of deploying various tech tools and solutions to better engage with the citizens of the country in a far more efficient and cost effective manner.”
“We shall also recognize and honour the following: the global tech brand of the month, the indigenous tech company of the month, the best bank website of the month, and an outstanding tech startup that has received significant venture capital funding in Nigeria in the course of the year.”
According to Juliet, the event is open to tech professionals and tech enthusiasts, but they must take the pains to register ahead in order to plan adequately for a seamless event.
