Facebook has launched a new monetisation initiative, Creator Fast Track, aimed at attracting established content creators from rival platforms with guaranteed earnings and increased visibility.

The company said it paid creators nearly $3 billion in 2025, marking a 35 percent increase from the previous year and its highest annual payout to date.

The new programme allows creators with existing followings on platforms like Instagram, TikTok and YouTube to grow their presence on Facebook without starting from scratch.

Eligible creators can earn up to $1,000 per month if they have at least 100,000 followers on another platform, and up to $3,000 per month for those with over one million followers.

Participants will also receive boosted reach for their Reels content and immediate access to Facebook’s monetisation tools without meeting the platform’s standard eligibility requirements.

Vice President of Creator Product, Yair Livne, said the programme was designed to address concerns about the difficulty of building an audience on Facebook.

The company added that while guaranteed payments last for three months, it may continue supporting creators with increased reach until they establish a stable audience.

Facebook also introduced new performance metrics, including “qualified views,” “earnings rate” and “non-qualified views,” to help creators better understand and optimise their earnings.

The company said more than 60 percent of creator payouts in 2025 came from Reels, underscoring the growing importance of short-form video content on the platform.
