Firefox for Android Introduce Article-listening Extension, Email address-Hiding Tool

TECHDIGEST– Mozilla, the company behind the popular Firefox web browser, has announced the addition of three new extensions to its Android browser.

These extensions are designed to improve user privacy and add useful features.

One of the new extensions is Firefox Relay, which provides users with a proxy email address that redirects incoming emails to their inbox, thereby protecting their real email address. This extension is similar to Sign in with Apple, which also allows users to hide their real email address.

Last year, Mozilla introduced a premium version of Firefox Relay, which offers more than five email aliases and custom domain names.

Another new extension is ClearURL, which removes tracking elements from URLs, making them shorter and cleaner. This is particularly useful when sharing links on social media or other platforms, as the URL will be less cluttered and easier to read.

Finally, Mozilla has added an extension that allows users to listen to articles, making it easier to access content while on the go or when multitasking.

Overall, these new extensions add to the limited set of extensions available on Firefox for Android and provide users with more options to customize their browsing experience while maintaining their privacy.
