Former Twitter CEO and Executives Sue Elon Musk Over Unpaid Legal Fees
TECHDIGEST- Twitter faces a lawsuit from three of its former executives, Parag Agrawal, Vijay Gadde, and Ned Segal, who is seeking over $1 million in legal fees related to a dispute with Elon Musk over unpaid severance benefits. Musk fired the three executives in October 2022.

According to sources, Twitter has refused to acknowledge its obligation to pay the invoices, even after the trio incurred significant expenses. The executives requested payment of expenses in January and March, but Twitter failed to honor its contractual obligations.

The former executives of Twitter are suing the company, along with its owner Elon Musk, seeking reimbursement for the costs paid while serving as the company’s legal representatives in two different court cases.
The Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, and the House Committee on Oversight and Reform conducted investigations from July 2022, adding to the expenditures. The SEC has asked Agrawal to retain some paperwork related to his time at Twitter.
Musk has claimed that he fired the executives for a good reason, making him exempt from paying the significant severance compensation. The plaintiffs’ attorneys claim that Twitter has failed to acknowledge its duties and remit payment of any invoices. The spokesperson for Gadde and Segal has stated that Twitter has once again failed to honor its contractual obligations to pay its bills.
