Google is rolling out a new tool called “Manage Subscriptions” to help Gmail users track, review, and unsubscribe from promotional emails and newsletters in one place. The feature has already started appearing on the web version of Gmail, with Android and iOS updates scheduled for July 14 and July 21 respectively.
The tool allows users to view all active subscriptions, see how many emails each sender has delivered recently, and unsubscribe with a single click — no more hunting for tiny unsubscribe links. Gmail will handle the opt-out requests automatically, helping users keep their inboxes clutter-free.
According to Gmail’s Director of Product, Chris Doan, the update responds to the problem of unwanted emails that pile up over time, from outdated newsletters to forgotten retail alerts. This dashboard-style upgrade builds on Gmail’s one-click unsubscribe tool launched last year, giving users more control and visibility. The new feature will be available to all Gmail users, including those on Google Workspace, Workspace Individual, and personal Google accounts.
