Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi CCIE, An Asset to Humanity

TECHDIGEST – I am however convinced that the man Kashifu Inuwa of NITDA Nigeria is an asset for Jigawa State and Nigeria in general. If we can try testing the ability of Malam Kashif, I guess he is somebody that can handle thing rightly, because he has got the courage to do every task vested on him.
Kashifu Inuwa is such an unbiased Nigerian. He’s a bitter enemy to nepotism and favoritism. He hates bigotry of any kind. He’s intolerant to corruption. He always supports freedom and justice. That’s why (behind his back) people refer to him as, “The Mandela of the 21st century.” This legend with legendary qualities, deserves whatever position in this county. It’s obvious that he’s capable. He measures up to the yardstick used to gauge a leader.
Kashifu Inuwa has all the requisite skills and natural brain of experinced acquired of a bridge builder. You know, with NITDA Nigeria, Kashifu has been involved in every stage of the metamorphosis of governance that has been in Nigeria now. He has been skillful and acquired all the tolerance needed, very kind, calm and calculative young gentleman.
Malam Kashifu Inuwa is not just a name, but a man with vision and a unique personality, a man of integrity and a leader with potentialiaty of a good leadership. He always speaks knowledgebly, he has kind heart, a heart that involves in helping the society. He represented us at both national and international level and evidently demonstrated his hardworking attitudes.
He delivered it to the less privileges such as orphans and vulnerable people, youth employment generation, paying school fees to students and medical fees assistance as I heard from many people, and witnessed some, though he don’t like publicity for the good things he’s doing to the people of Jigawa State especially masses.
His kingship towards improving the youths of my generation and encouraging youth to participate in something important that will add values to their lives is commendable, the opportunities we may have in his leadership is something that is indescribable. In a serious society the like of Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi is a great material worth caring, capable of holding position with maturity and because of his good qualities and productive ideas exhibited in the position he’s presently holding.
With multiple IT centers built across most of the local govt in Jigawa State, couple with different programmes and multimillion projects commissioned in the State, everyone will jump to the conclusion that Malam Kashif is the best option. If all the appointees were like DG NITDA Malam Kashif, I am sure Jigawa State may have been mentioned among the best State in the country.

Though, I am not trying to disparage anybody or be emotional, but Kashif Inuwa is someone who is very intelligent and honest. If you are looking for somebody who is very powerful in Nigeria today, certainly Kashif is one. Highly connected to Mr. President because of his justice and transparent behaviours.
This graduate of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi was forced by his Mentor Sheikh Pantami to join NITDA from CBN, because he discovered his potentialities since from his school days. The reason why Prof Pantami suggested to President on the need to pocket that 39 years old young gentleman was because he is an asset. And if one can interview President Muhammed Buhari today will tell you that one of the greatest blessing that has ever happened to his government is having Malam Pantami and Kashif Inuwa in his cabinet.

We really knew that, Jigawa is need of somebody who has vast knowledge and passionate on Agriculture/farming, and who will come with a new ways of farming system using any method especially technology and move the State to a better level. In January 2021, we have heard how DG spoke during Jigawa 1st Innovation Summit, where he elaborated so many ways on how we can harness and solves different agricultural problems using technology. He said, “Jigawa State has a lot of potentials in terms of agricultural resources. Jigawa is the largest producer of dates, hibiscus and gum Arabic in Nigeria, and largest producer of sesames in the whole of Africa. The State also stands third in rice production, and we are utilizing 10% of our arable land.”
He continued, “Let me give you an example of the Netherlands. Netherland is not as big as Kano and Jigawa States combined together, in terms of landmass and population but Netherland is using information technology for agriculture. But what Netherland generated from agriculture export in 2019 was $106 billion while Nigeria generated only six-point something billion dollars from oil and gas. If we can harness the powers of ICT, we don’t need to bother about any other thing because almost everything we do today is powered by ICT. So we can use ICT to boost our agriculture, our commerce and trading, almost everything.”
Finally, I suggest (we) people of Jigawa State, Hadejia in particular to please look at somebody who is not only good but excellent, who will put people’s interest above his own interest, who has a vision, a gift of Allah, whom Jigawa can never quantify what they will get with him, somebody who reflects a high level of pedigree, a man who is quite accommodating with moderate standard of living. I am sure Jigawa State indigenes will not regret choosing a person of caliber like him as a leader, because, Kashif is an asset that can take his people from the doldrums to Eldorado.
