Users can now simply press the waveform button on WhatsApp, ask questions, and receive spoken responses from Meta AI.

In a bid to make AI more accessible, WhatsApp users can now send photos to Meta AI for insights and translations. For example, if a user takes a picture of a menu in a foreign language, Meta AI can translate it instantly.
Similarly, users can upload a photo of a plant and inquire about its care.The company is also introducing advanced photo editing features, where users can manipulate images by adding or removing elements. For instance, an unwanted person in the background can be removed, or colors in an object can be altered for a different perspective.
On the business front, Meta is enhancing AI-powered customer service for companies using the WhatsApp Business app.
