NIGCOMSAT Partners with TD4PAI to Boost Local AgTech Innovation
TECH DIGEST- The Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) and the Technology Development for Poverty Alleviation Initiative (TD4PAI) announced a collaborative effort to support local technology innovations focused on agriculture.
This partnership aims to leverage technology’s potential to transform Nigeria’s agricultural sector, a crucial contributor to the nation’s GDP (25% in 2023).
“During a visit to TD4PAI’s Abuja hub, I was impressed by their groundbreaking initiatives, particularly the soil monitoring technology that predicts crop outcomes,” said Mrs. Jane Egerton-Idehen, CEO of NIGCOMSAT. “This aligns with our commitment to fostering homegrown innovation and empowering the Nigerian digital economy through Nigerian enterprises.”

The TD4PAI hub, located in Kuje Area Council, is an innovation charity focused on bridging the digital skills gap,especially among underserved communities.
