NITDA Announces Digital Nigeria Hackathon 2023 to Foster Innovation, Economic Growth
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has unveiled its plans to host the NITDA Digital Nigeria Hackathon 2023, a groundbreaking event aimed at fostering innovation and addressing national challenges through emerging technologies.
This event is part of the activities lined up for the Digital Nigeria 2023 initiative, organized by the Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI) in collaboration with the Innovation Support Network (ISN).
Scheduled to take place on the 24th of October 2023 at the prestigious International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, the hackathon is a vital component of the Digital Nigeria International Conference and Exhibition, which centers on the theme: “Harnessing Digital Technologies for Job Creation, Inclusive Economic Growth, and Sustainability.”
This year’s event signifies a rebranding effort to align with the core objectives of the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS), with a focus on building a digital Nigeria.
