PRNigeria Young Communication Fellowship Attracts 691 Applicants for 30 Slots

The organisers of the PRNigeria Young Communication Fellowship (PYCF) have closed applications for the 2026 edition, recording an overwhelming national response with 691 young Nigerians competing for just 30 fellowship slots across the programme’s three training centres in Abuja, Ilorin and Kano.

The fellowship, now in its third edition, will admit 10 participants each into the three centres for an intensive capacity-building programme designed to develop the next generation of ethical journalists, strategic communicators, public relations practitioners, fact-checkers and digital media professionals.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Arewa Media Summit in Kano, the Fellowship Coordinator, Mallam Mohammed Dahiru Lawal, described the volume and diversity of applications as a strong endorsement of the programme’s growing reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading youth communication development initiatives.

He disclosed that the applications reflected broad national participation, with candidates drawn from all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, underscoring the Fellowship’s expanding reach and relevance.

According to Lawal, the majority of applicants were between 20 and 30 years old, although the Fellowship also attracted a number of older graduates seeking to strengthen their communication and leadership skills.

He noted that while male applicants accounted for the larger proportion of submissions, female participation remained impressive across several states, reflecting the programme’s commitment to promoting gender inclusion within Nigeria’s communication profession.

The Fellowship Coordinator further revealed that applicants came from every geopolitical zone, with the North-West, North-East and North-Central recording the highest number of entries.

Among the three training locations, Kano emerged as the most preferred centre, followed by Abuja and Ilorin.

Lawal said the educational backgrounds of applicants demonstrated the programme’s national appeal, with candidates possessing qualifications ranging from National Diploma (ND) and Diploma certificates to Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor’s degrees, Law degrees (LL.B) and various postgraduate qualifications.

The applicants also represented a wide spectrum of tertiary institutions, including universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and other specialised institutions across the country.

He explained that the application data would guide the selection process to ensure fairness, inclusiveness and national balance.

According to him, the final selection will be based on criteria that promote youth empowerment, gender equity, academic diversity and equitable geopolitical representation, while identifying candidates with the passion and potential to become future leaders in journalism, public relations and strategic communication.

Lawal noted that this year’s Fellowship is themed “Ethical Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” reflecting the growing need to equip young professionals with the skills required to navigate artificial intelligence, digital disruption, misinformation and emerging communication technologies.

He added that successful fellows will undergo intensive training featuring expert-led masterclasses, practical newsroom and communication assignments, mentorship sessions, institutional visits and professional networking opportunities designed to prepare them for careers in the rapidly evolving media and communication landscape.

The PRNigeria Young Communication Fellowship, organised by Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), publishers of PRNigeria, has earned national and international recognition, including being shortlisted for the 2025 SABRE African PR Awards. The initiative has also received support from the MacArthur Foundation, Professor Pantami Foundation and donation of training facility in Lugbe Abuja by the founder of Maryam Abacha University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Prof Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo further reinforcing its credibility as a platform for nurturing young communication professionals in Nigeria.

According to Shuaib, the gesture followed Professor Gwarzo’s tour of the newly completed PRNigeria hostel in Kano—designed to accommodate fellows during intensive training sessions—as well as a similar residential project currently under construction at the organisation’s Ilorin centre.

“When he realised that we did not yet have a comparable residential training facility at our Abuja headquarters, he made the commitment immediately,” Shuaib disclosed.

“We were truly short of words to appreciate him—not only for this singular gesture, but for his consistent and far-reaching investment in education, particularly across Northern Nigeria,” he added.

Shuaib made the remarks during a public lecture organised in honour of Professor Gwarzo’s 48th birthday at the PRNigeria Centre in Kano, noting that the donation further reinforces the educationist’s reputation as a transformative force in African higher education.

Chairman of the IMPR Board, , said the partnership between PRNigeria Academy and the MAAUN Group would help bridge the gap between academic theory and professional media practice.

“This collaboration reflects the growing role of private-sector intervention in strengthening Nigeria’s national workforce through specialised skill acquisition and professional training,” he said.

The donation comes shortly after Professor Gwarzo was honoured as Edupreneur of the Year at the 2025 Arewa Stars Awards, while Mass Communication students of MAAUN also clinched honours at recent Campus Journalism and Young Communicator awards.

In his remarks, the President of MAAUN Kano, Professor Mohammad Israr, disclosed that the university had recorded several milestones, including becoming the first institution in Northern Nigeria to secure professional corporate membership of the (NIPR).

He described the achievement as evidence of the university’s commitment to ethical communication and professional excellence, adding that the Mass Communication Department remains focused on producing industry-ready graduates.

The public lecture, themed “AI and the Emerging Trends of Online Newspapers: Reflections on the Ethics of Journalism,” examined the growing influence of artificial intelligence on media practice and the need to uphold professional standards in the digital age.

Delivering the keynote address, award-winning PRNigeria fact-checker and open-source intelligence specialist, Muhaama Dahiru Lawal, warned that journalism is entering a hyper-realistic information era, where a growing proportion of content consumed by the public is synthetic or AI-generated.

He noted that AI-generated videos, images and audio clips are increasingly being used to spread misinformation, particularly during security crises and politically sensitive periods, sometimes amplified by online news platforms operating with weak editorial controls.

Similarly, Chairman of the Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation, Dr. Musa Sufi, cautioned journalists against over-dependence on artificial intelligence, stressing that technology should complement—not replace—professional competence.

“AI is here to help professionals do their work better, but it cannot replace human judgment and skills,” Sufi said. “Journalists must continue to improve themselves and remain capable, even without technological tools.”

The convener of the event, Adnan Mukhtar, Chief Executive Officer of Adnan Mukhtar and Associates, said the programme was organised to honour his mentor, Professor Gwarzo, whom he described as a distinguished journalist, academic and philanthropist.

According to Mukhtar, Professor Gwarzo’s personal investment in education and human capital development—culminating in the establishment of MAAUN—remains rare and exemplary in Northern Nigeria.

The public lecture and commemorative event brought together media professionals, academics and public relations practitioners from across the country.

Professor Gwarzo is the pioneer of the MAAUN Group of Universities, with thriving campuses in Kano, Nigeria, and Maradi, Niger Republic. Beyond institutional development, he has expanded access to education through the Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation, which has awarded thousands of scholarships to indigent students across the region.

The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) has officially endorsed Nigeria’s National Spokespersons Awards (NSAwards). At the same time, the Federal Government and the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) have commended the PRNigeria Young Communications Fellowship for equipping graduates with cutting-edge skills in journalism, public relations, and artificial intelligence.

The endorsements and commendations were announced over the weekend during the fellowship’s closing ceremony at the PRNigeria Centre in Abuja.

In his welcome address, Alhaji Yushau Shuaib, CEO of Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), revealed that IPRA, in a correspondence by its Secretary General, Philip Sheppard, had granted the NSAwards Conference Status. This designation provides global recognition for the annual event, which celebrates organisations and individuals who demonstrate excellence in public communication through creativity and innovation.

Both the NSAwards and the PRNigeria Fellowship are organised annually by IMPR, publisher of PRNigeria and Economic Confidential. The firm has established itself as a leading strategic communication agency, ranking as the Most Creative PR Agency Worldwide in 2020 and winning multiple SABRE Africa and IPRA Golden World Awards.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Malam Mohammed Idris Malagi, represented by the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mallam Ali M. Ali, praised IMPR’s commitment to strategic communication and developing the next generation of communication professionals through the fellowship programme.

“We are not surprised that IMPR is one of the most outstanding strategic communication outfits that adhere to the ethics of the profession through its platforms, initiatives, including the annual fellowship for young Nigerians.

“In fact, this capacity-building initiative offers not only an opportunity to mentor, train, and empower young graduates, but also provides a rich reservoir of future talents who will nourish our industry,” Ali said.

The Minister’s representative cautioned fellows to remain discerning in an environment “rife with fake news,” particularly given the prevalence of AI-generated content.

NUJ President Comrade Alhassan Adamu Yahya pledged the Union’s support for IMPR’s initiatives, including the fellowship and the National Spokespersons Awards. He urged fellows to prioritise national security and ethical standards in their work.

Ja’afar Ja’afar, CEO of Daily Nigerian, warned the young graduates about the emerging threat of deepfakes and AI manipulation. He emphasised that professional contacts “make the journalist and journalism,” and advised investigative journalists to use the Freedom of Information Act responsibly, focusing on accountability rather than humiliation.

The fellowship is hosted annually at PRNigeria Centres in Abuja, Kano, and Ilorin. At the Abuja ceremony, Humaid Rabiu Shehu and Oyeyemi Abolade were recognised as Team Leader and Best Fellow, respectively, of the 2025 Abuja cohort.

The IMPR is also the host of annual Security and Emergency Management Awards (SAEMA), Arewa Stars Awards (ASA), Spokespersons Communication Awards (SCA) and the Economic Confidential Lecture.

Mohammed Dahiru Lawal, a fact-check journalist and head of investigations at PRNigeria, has emerged as the overall winner of the Best in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) reporting award in Anglophone West Africa.

Dahiru clinched the honor at the 2025 Excellence in Journalism Awards dinner hosted by the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) at the Abuja Continental Hotel.

The awards celebrated the culmination of the 2025 Kwame Kari Kari Fact Checking and OSINT Fellowship.

The CJID stated that Dahiru’s win “showcases the power of open-source investigation, combining precision, critical thinking and commitment to truth to help the public make sense of complex events”.

The 2025 Kwame Karikari Fact-Checking and OSINT Fellowship, organized by DUBAWA and DAIDAC (both programs of the CJID), graduated 40 journalists from seven West African countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone.

This year’s cohort was the first to introduce the OSINT component as its major thematic area.

Yushau Shuaib, Publisher and CEO of PRNigeria, expressed pride in the achievement: “This win in partnership with Daily Nigerian is consequential because it represents the best honor of the program, being that it is the fellowships theme this year and seemingly the first OSINT focused honor in the region. It is a feat our newsroom will remain proud of.”

Dahiru Lawal is an accomplished young professional, whose accolades include Campus Journalist of the Year 2020, Kwame Kari Kari Best West African Fellow 2021, and the U.S. Department of State Mandela Washington Fellowship 2023. He is also the author of 101 Fake News on EndSARS.

PRNigeria has officially commenced the Abuja edition of its Young Communication Fellowship, following successful programmes in Kano and Ilorin two months ago.

The initiative aims to empower young Nigerians in media, public relations, and civic communication with the knowledge and skills required to navigate today’s fast-changing communication landscape.

The fellowship, themed, “Truth, Trust, and Technology: The Role of Media, Security, and Strategic Communication for National Stability,” is designed not only to strengthen participants’ technical expertise but also to cultivate integrity, responsibility, and national consciousness.

At the opening ceremony, Alhaji Yushau Shuaib, MD/CEO of Image Merchants Promotion (IMPR) and Publisher of PRNigeria and Economic Confidential, described the Abuja programme as a consolidation of lessons from previous editions.

“This fellowship is about more than just skills; it is about shaping principled communicators who can serve the nation responsibly,” Shuaib said.

“It is our way of investing in the next generation of Nigerian storytellers, strategists, and civic advocates.”

He recalled the overwhelming response to the programme since its inception: “Within just two days of opening applications, we received 1,414 entries for this year’s edition. The enthusiasm shows that young Nigerians are eager to build credible and impactful communication careers.”

Shuaib also highlighted the fellowship’s adaptation to global trends in media and technology.

“We are integrating tools like artificial intelligence and machine learning because communication is rapidly shifting from traditional print to digital, audiovisual, and data-driven formats. Our participants must be equipped to lead in this new reality.”

The Abuja cohort brings together emerging journalists, PR professionals, digital media creatives, and civic communicators for an intensive two-week training on various aspects of media and PR communication.

The programme covers strategic communication, fact-checking, crisis messaging, digital storytelling, analytics, and ethics in the age of algorithms.

By nurturing the next generation of communicators, PRNigeria aims to promote truth, foster public trust, and strengthen national stability, ensuring that young professionals are prepared to make meaningful contributions to Nigeria’s media and communication landscape.

The PRNigeria Young Communication Fellowship has concluded its latest training programme with the induction of new fellows in Ilorin, Kwara State, despite facing severe security challenges that tested the organization’s resilience and commitment to youth empowerment.

The event, held at the PRNigeria Centre, was overshadowed by the kidnapping of one of its staff members, Salis Manaja, who was abducted while travelling to the venue.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), Yushau A. Shuaib, reaffirmed the organization’s determination to continue empowering young communication professionals even in the face of adversity.

“Despite the unfortunate kidnapping of our staff en route to this event, we have remained committed,” Shuaib said. “His release after ten difficult days only deepened our resolve to support security agencies in combating crime.”

He expressed profound gratitude to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), professional colleagues, and security operatives for their solidarity and support during the ordeal.

Shuaib explained that the Ilorin Fellowship, like previous editions in Abuja and Kano, was designed to equip aspiring journalists, media aides, and public relations professionals with essential skills in journalism, strategic communication, social media management, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in media.

The Guest Speaker, Professor Saudat Abdulbaki of the University of Ilorin, commended PRNigeria for its bold and visionary initiative in bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world communication practice.

She noted that since its inception, the Fellowship has been a transformative platform that equips young graduates with the tools to thrive in the dynamic media and public relations landscape.

“There is no end to learning,” she advised. “As communication strategists and public relations practitioners, you must keep learning and unlearning to stay relevant and credible.”

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Kwara State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Ogunade, described the Fellowship as a “game-changer” in the Nigerian communication industry.

He applauded IMPR for setting a “gold standard” by curating a curriculum that balances theory with practical exposure, while also commending the firm for its global recognition at the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) Golden World Awards.

Ogunade charged the graduating fellows to uphold ethics, authenticity, and accountability in their professional careers. “You are trustees of reputation,” he reminded them. “Guard it with integrity, for investing in skilled communicators is investing in Nigeria’s future.”

Also speaking, Professor Abubakar Laro of Kwara State University (KWASU) praised PRNigeria’s commitment to democratizing access to media education. He noted that offering such intensive and high-quality training free of charge reflects IMPR’s passion for empowering youth to become catalysts of positive change.

Participants, he said, underwent rigorous mentorship in editorial writing, public speaking, media production, artificial intelligence in media, and crisis communication.

Representing the graduating fellows, Adebisi Adams, expressed deep appreciation to the organisers and facilitators for their dedication to nurturing future communicators.

“The world needs credible voices to disseminate truth and clarity,” she said. “We’ve learned that effective communication is not just about storytelling—it’s about nation-building.”

The PRNigeria Manager also led the dignitaries to the inspection of the Digital Innovative facilities provided by the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) to bridge the digital divide by providing students and entrepreneurs with access to technology, connectivity, and critical skills training.

The PRNigeria Young Communication Fellowship, established by Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR) — publishers of PRNigeria, Economic Confidential, and Spokespersons Digest — continues to serve as a beacon of practical training and mentorship for Nigeria’s emerging communicators.

Despite the security setback, the successful completion of the Ilorin edition reaffirms PRNigeria’s unwavering mission: empowering young communicators with skills, ethics, and courage to shape a more informed and secure society.

The award was presented at IPRA’s glittering 70th anniversary gala, held in Accra, Ghana. This historic event also saw the inauguration of Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah as IPRA’s President-elect, marking the first time an African woman has assumed the role. She will be taking over from Natasa Pavlovic Bujas from Belgrade.

This latest accolade follows the duo’s 2024 GWA win in Belgrade, Serbia, where their campaign, 100 Days of Impactful PR at Customs Service, triumphed in the Crisis Management category. The back-to-back recognition positions Nigeria Customs as a global benchmark for reform-driven government communication.

IMPR, led by CEO Yushau Shuaib, has now secured IPRA awards for nine consecutive years since 2016, collaborating with various Nigerian institutions to elevate the country’s international PR standing. Recognised as the most awarded communication firm in West Africa, IMPR was named the Most Creative PR Agency Worldwide in 2020 by the Global Creativity Index (GCI), published by PRovoke Media, organisers of the SABRE Awards.

This year’s GWA featured entries from at least 35 countries, with winners including Pan American Energy (Argentina), UN Special Rapporteur on Torture Dr. Alice Edwards (Canada), Navos (Germany), Stratcomm Africa (Ghana), Coca-Cola Hellas (Greece), McDonald’s (Hungary), Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance, BPRESS (Italy), Dentsu (Japan), Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL), Olam Agri (Singapore), Burson Africa and Warner Bros (South Africa), Kia Corporation (South Korea), The Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Dubai Police (UAE), Aramco (UK), and Adobe (USA).

The NCS–IMPR collaboration was honoured in the Publication category for their 162-page handbook titled Impactful Public Relations in Customs Management. Co-authored by PRNigeria journalists Kabir Abdulsalam and Maryam Na’Allah, the book highlights innovative PR strategies implemented under the leadership of Comptroller-General Wale Adeniyi.

Structured into 12 chapters, the handbook serves as a comprehensive guide to effective public relations, featuring practical case studies and engagement tools. It illustrates how strategic communication can enhance an institution’s reputation through transparency, boost revenue through stakeholder engagement, and reinforce national security through effective crisis communication.

Endorsed by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Centre for Crisis Communication (CCC), the publication also received commendation from Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima.

Receiving the award on behalf of NCS, spokesperson Abdullahi Maiwada remarked, “This honour reaffirms the power of communication in building institutional credibility. Under CG Adeniyi, our service has embraced transparency, innovation, and accountability.”

Dr. Sule Yau Sule, Chairman of IMPR’s Board of Directors, described the award as a testament to the strength of public-private collaboration in strategic communication: “This recognition proves that Nigerian agencies can compete globally, using PR not just for publicity, but as a tool for reform and public trust.”

The 2025 edition of the Golden World Awards is particularly historic — marking the first time in IPRA’s 70-year history that the gala was hosted on African soil. It also coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) in Ghana.

Established in 1990, the Golden World Awards are widely regarded as the “Oscars of Public Relations,” celebrating campaigns that exemplify excellence, ethics, and impact.

With this latest win, Nigeria Customs joins an elite circle of global institutions leveraging strategic communication to drive reform, further cementing Nigeria’s leadership in innovative public relations across the continent.

The Image Merchant Promotion Limited (IMPR), publishers of PRNigeria and Economic Confidential, has inaugurated a new hostel facility for its Young Communication Fellowship in Kano, addressing a key logistical need for participants travelling from across the state and beyond.

The announcement was made by the Editor-in-Chief of PRNigeria, Mr. Yushau Shuaib, during the graduation ceremony of ten fellows who completed an intensive, training programme. The fellowship blends classroom instruction with hands-on field experience to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical expertise in journalism, public relations, and crisis communication.

While commending the graduates for their dedication, Shuaib explained the hostel was built to accommodate participants from distant locations. He emphasized the programme’s urgency in an era of rising misinformation.

“Beyond equipping participants with essential communication skills, this programme prepares them to respond to the challenges of information disorder while also positioning them to contribute meaningfully to society,” Shuaib stated.

He noted that beyond the annual Fellowship, PRNigeria Centres in Abuja, Kano, and Ilorin have trained young people in a wide range of skills, including videography, photography, web management, graphic design, public speaking, and more.

The Fellowship Coordinator, Dahiru Lawal, detailed the curriculum, which included digital journalism, fact-checking, social media management, and crisis communication strategies. Fellows also undertook field visits to media houses, academic institutions, corporate organisations for firsthand communication experience.

Review: A Trilogy of PRNigeria Books on Economic Renewal
By Dr. Sule Yau Sule

When the Editor-in-Chief of PRNigeria and Economic Confidential, Mallam Yushau Shuaib, invited me to write the forewords for three distinct books addressing Nigeria’s monetary policy, healthcare reform, diplomacy, and digital innovation, I was deeply honored. As an avid reader of the authors’ incisive articles in national dailies, I considered it a privilege to contribute to their significant body of work.

As Chairman of the Board of Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR)—publisher of Economic Confidential, PRNigeria, and Tech Digest—I have witnessed the growth of our editorial team firsthand. Upon receiving the drafts, it was evident that these books distilled a wealth of analytical insights from articles previously published and widely syndicated across our platforms.

At IMPR, we invest in rigorous training in research and writing for both staff and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members. This commitment extends beyond media publication; we refine and repurpose content into enduring scholarly works. It is a point of pride that nearly 70% of IMPR staff writers have authored or co-authored books—a rare achievement in Nigeria’s media landscape and a testament to our dedication to intellectual development.

Having written the forewords, I now offer a reflective review of these three works as a cohesive trilogy of ideas and vision.

The first book, “Renewed Hope in Central Banking” by Rahma Olamide Oladosu, emerges at a critical time of global financial turbulence and national economic uncertainty. This 133-page volume, comprising 26 curated articles, offers a sharp yet accessible analysis of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s repositioning under Governor Olayemi Cardoso.

Originally published as analytical essays in Economic Confidential, Oladosu’s work captures the evolution of Nigeria’s financial system, exploring foreign exchange reforms, reserve diversification, liquidity management, and the rise of digital payments. She meticulously dissects policy choices and institutional recalibrations, situating Nigeria’s role as an aspiring monetary anchor for Africa through strategic engagements with continental counterparts like Egypt.

The book’s greatest strength is its clarity. It moves beyond chronicling policies to articulate a coherent vision of stability, self-reliance, and global respect for Nigeria’s financial leadership. For policymakers, economists, business leaders, and engaged citizens, “Renewed Hope in Central Banking” is essential reading.

The second book, “Healing Nigeria: A Chronicle of Health Reforms,” is co-authored by Lawal Dahiru Mamman and Maimuna Katuka Aliyu. This 156-page collection of 32 essays is a stirring exploration of one of Africa’s most complex and often neglected sectors: healthcare. Mamman and Aliyu combine investigative rigor with compassionate storytelling, producing a narrative that is both policy-driven and deeply human.

The authors chronicle Nigeria’s responses to outbreaks like diphtheria and anthrax, highlight advances in cancer care and mental health, and shed light on emerging frontiers in biotechnology and digital health. Anchored in global health milestones, these essays bring Nigeria’s struggles and triumphs into sharp relief.

What stands out is the book’s human-centered approach. It portrays patients yearning for dignity, professionals advocating for equity, and reformers daring to envision a more just system. In doing so, it elevates health equity from a policy ambition to a moral imperative—the bedrock of national resilience. “Healing Nigeria” is simultaneously a chronicle, a manifesto, and a call to action, deserving a place on the desks of policymakers, practitioners, and advocates.

The third and perhaps most inspiring volume of the trilogy is “Diplomacy and Digital Innovation – Youth Insight,” co-authored by two serving NYSC members: Fatimah Yusuf Usman (Mass Communication) and Umar Farouk Bala (Political Science and International Relations). Across 145 pages and 33 articles, they demonstrate what Nigerian youth can achieve when given meaningful platforms for expression.

Fatimah’s essays probe the digital transformation agenda, spotlighting the work of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), while Umar focuses on Nigeria’s foreign policy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Together, they weave a narrative that positions innovation and diplomacy as twin pillars of Nigeria’s future.

They engage with significant issues—the “Japa” phenomenon, Nigeria’s campaign for a UN Security Council seat, and the shift from aid-dependence to innovation-driven development—while highlighting the roles of visionary leaders like Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Dr. Bosun Tijani, and Mallam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi.

This book is more than a compilation; it is a youthful, optimistic reimagination of Nigeria’s global role, crafted with intellectual discipline and patriotic urgency. For scholars, policymakers, media professionals, and young people, it offers both a compass and a challenge.

Together, these three books form a collective blueprint for Nigeria’s transformation. From monetary reform and healthcare renewal to digital innovation and smart diplomacy, they underscore a powerful truth: that well-articulated ideas can inspire action, strengthen institutions, and reshape destinies.

I commend the authors for their courage, clarity, and creativity, and the publishers for their foresight in nurturing such intellectual enterprise. These works are not merely reflections of our times—they are guideposts to a future of hope, dignity, and national renewal.
