TikTok has announced plans to host its first-ever U.S. awards show, celebrating creators, artists, and viral videos that have defined the platform in 2025.
The event will take place on December 18 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and will be livestreamed on the TikTok app and Tubi, with on-demand access available the following day.
Users can vote for their favorite creators beginning November 18 via a dedicated portal on the app.
Award categories include “Creator of the Year,” “Video of the Year,” “Breakthrough Artist of the Year,” and “Storyteller of the Year,” among others. Nominees include adamw, alixearle, brookemonk_, keith_lee125, and kristy.sarah for Creator of the Year.
TikTok said the show will feature live performances, red-carpet appearances, and hundreds of invited creators. The company has previously hosted similar events in countries such as Germany, Mexico, and Korea.
By launching a U.S.-based awards show, TikTok aims to strengthen its role in the entertainment industry and celebrate creators shaping culture across fashion, beauty, sports, film, and music.
