Twitter Charges For Two-Factor Authentication
TECHDIGEST– The text message/SMS mode of 2FA will no longer be available to accounts unless they are Twitter Blue users, according to a recent announcement from Twitter. The new regulation will go into force on March 20.
The security feature called two-factor authentication (2FA) aids in preventing hackers from accessing your Twitter account. To access their accounts, users must input a password and a security code or key.
