TECH DIGEST – Startups and hubs seeking to participate in GITEX Future Stars (GFS) holding as part of the 41st edition of the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) 2021 have an opportunity to be sponsored.
Apply for the Pitch Deck for the GFS organized by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). The agency is accepting sponsorship applications from young startups and hubs across the country to participate at the GFS.

The NITDA 2021 GITEX application portal is now open, and the agency is calling for applications from innovative technology-driven startups with solutions addressing any of these specified problems’ areas:
- Fifth-generation wireless technology (5G);
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Augmented Analytics;
- Transportation;
- Digital Economies;
- Cyber Security and Resilience;
- Cloud and Edge computing; and
- Blockchain technology.

“The agency has opened a portal for application for sponsorship of Nigerian startups to the forthcoming 41st edition of the GITEX taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Dubai, United Arabs Emirates, from October 17-21, 2021 with the theme: Creating a Bolder Digital Future Together,” says Head, Corporate Affairs and External Relations Unit, NITDA, Mrs. Hadiza Umar, in a statement issued at the weekend in Abuja.
