CITAD Launches Book On Female Digital Entrepreneurs

TECH DIGEST – In it’s continuing and endearing efforts to compliments the tireless endeavours of northern women who have a passion to become self-reliant in various skills and entrepreneurship, the Centre For Information Technology and Development,(CITAD) made a public presentation of a book titled: Profile Some Young Female Digital “Entrepreneurs” From Northern Nigeria.
During the book presentation in Kano on Wednesday, CITAD Development and Planning Officer, Isa Garba said the event is apt and timely and as a complement to government towards giving women needed opportunity to become self-reliant through various skills and entrepreneurship.
He said the book contains business profiles of some women who excel in various entrepreneurship, who had also undergone rigorous skills training under CITAD and other partner agencies. ‘’The book is mainly for the potential investors and customers who have to develop keen interests to patronize the products and services of the young female entrepreneurs featured,’’ Garba said.
In her remark, Hajia Nafisa Yakasai from Kano state ministry of Women, Youth and social development said the book presentation is a welcome development, particularly at this time of economic hardship currently becoming a household theme.
