Meta has quietly launched an experimental artificial intelligence-powered app that allows users to create games and interactive experiences using natural language prompts, marking the company’s latest expansion into AI-powered creative tools.

The app, called Pocket, has appeared on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store without an official announcement from Meta, suggesting it is still in an early testing phase.

Pocket enables users to generate interactive experiences simply by describing what they want in plain language, eliminating the need for coding skills. The app also features a discovery feed where users can browse and play games created by others, combining AI-powered creation with content sharing.

The launch builds on Meta’s acquisition earlier this year of the team behind Gizmo, a startup focused on AI-generated interactive experiences.

Based on app listings and available screenshots, Pocket closely resembles the original Gizmo platform, using the same prompt-based approach to generate playable experiences. While the original Gizmo app remains available, Pocket appears to be Meta’s in-house version built on the acquired technology.

The app was first published on both Android and iOS on June 29, 2026. As it is still in the early stages of rollout, user adoption figures are not yet available.

Pocket expands Meta’s growing portfolio of AI-powered creative products. The company has already introduced AI image generation through its Meta AI app, AI video generation with Vibes, and generative AI features across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. It has also integrated AI-assisted editing tools into its creator-focused video editing app, Edits.

The launch signals Meta’s growing interest in AI-generated interactive entertainment, extending its AI ambitions beyond text, images and videos into game creation.
