Nigeria is strengthening its entrepreneurship ecosystem through new partnerships with global platforms aimed at building a generation of digitally competitive business leaders.
The collaboration, driven by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Entrepreneurship Development in partnership with African Business Heroes and Cascador, is being implemented under the Renewed Hope Enterprise Bridge Initiative.
According to a statement released today, the partnerships are expected to provide Nigerian entrepreneurs with access to global knowledge systems, digital tools and enterprise frameworks that support business growth and innovation.
The statement said the move is part of a broader strategy to align Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem with international best practices and expand opportunities for local businesses.
“A key component of the collaboration is the rollout of targeted programmes that will expose entrepreneurs to practical learning, mentorship and cross-border networks.
“The initiative is particularly focused on enhancing digital capabilities, which are increasingly critical for competitiveness in today’s global economy.
“The initiative will roll out the Digital Lions Programme in partnership with Alibaba Global Initiatives under the African Business Heroes platform,” the statement said.
Entrepreneurs across the country have been encouraged to leverage the opportunities provided through the programmes to improve capacity, scale operations and access new markets.
