NITDA Trains Over 150,000 Nigerians On ICT
TECH DIGEST – The National Information Technology Development Agency NITDA says the agency has trained over one hundred and fifty thousand Nigerians on Information Communication Technology (ICT) in 2020.
The Director-General of the Agency, Kashifu Abdullahi made this known to Newsmen in Dutse, where he said the training was conducted online, in classes and other social media platformKashifu Abdullahi said out of the number, 70,000 were trained online, and he stated further that ICT was the third source of socio-economic wellbeing apart from agriculture, the financial aspect.
He said with the training received a number of Nigerians have the advantage of ICT which enable them to improve their socio-economic wellbeing.
Kashifu Abdullahi stated that a number of policies were introduced by the agency to ensure that people gain ICT knowledge in order to attain the millennium development goals.
